These plantations are mainly conducted in La Glorieta Plaza Camachos, garden Floridablanca Plaza Condestable, Malecon, Plaza Santa Isabel, garden Salitre, garden Fofó Plaza Díez de Revenga, medians Juan Carlos I and Juan de Borbon y flowerpots the downtown area and Fuensanta.
The type of flowers used are mainly vinca, begonias, zinnias, sunflowers and petunias.
It is seasonal plants, suitable for the summer period and type of existing water and soil in the gardens of Murcia and districts.
This is one of the three annual campaigns replacement flowering plants both in the city and in each of the districts of the municipality, reaching more than 200,000 copies a year.
These jobs are in addition to those made in the Special Plan Summer in which around 200 workers have been working on the replacement, pruning and treatment of individual trees, the daily troubleshooting, cleaning the lakes and fountains, mowings of lawn, phytosanitary treatments, as well as construction and maintenance of parks and new children's play areas.
The councilman Guillen has stressed that "these actions seek to enhance the appearance of our parks and gardens as during the near future, is increased the number of Murcia and tourists who walk by them."
