The possibility of civil unions in the city of Murcia was introduced in April 1995 and from then until now there have been 4,941 marriages.
This year, until July, there have been 114, which represents almost 70% of those that took place around 2015 (167).
The registration of unions, created at City Hall by agreement Plenum March 1994, offers a very similar data.

The municipal Civil Marriages, attached to the Department of Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillen is getting requests for weddings until March 2017, although the timing of these seven months is not complete and there are dates available.
To award a date and time for a link is necessary that the couple has started the record in the registry of the court.
From there, they must complete a series of steps such as providing a proof of having undertaken this process in the civil registry with the corresponding number, set the date of the link, fill out an application and provide copies of identity cards.
