Let's change calls for an internal investigation to clarify whether there was injury to the City Council in contracts with Urbatisa (02/08/2016)

Councilman Let's change Murcia Sergio Ramos has asked the City Council to carry out an internal investigation to examine whether the alleged illegal procurement for Urbatisa investigating the prosecution caused some economic damage to the municipal coffers and clarify if they failed mechanisms existing control to avoid such irregularities.

According to the prosecution, the Urbatisa missing was the company that for years has accumulated large number of contracts with the city of Murcia and on which there are suspicions that might be under the control of Antonio Sanchez Carrillo, exconcejal of Public Roads, through a figurehead.

In addition, Ramos has asked the consistory persone an active part in the cause if the investigation of the Prosecutor moves to a judicial process in order to defend the rights of the City Council and citizens, exercising a work of accusation and not protection for the suspects.
