Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture encourages entrepreneurs Murcia to submit their projects and "not to miss an opportunity that can help in the first steps of his way, in many cases, often the most difficult."
The competition of business projects, which this year reaches its XXIV edition, aims to help entrepreneurs and motivate, encourage entrepreneurship and boost the economy and employment.
Proposals can be made until September 5.
In addition to economic aid to the winners, all participants will receive technical advice.
The first steps of a company, since the idea came up that emerges, studies, works and comes true, are often the most difficult.
Ignorance about aid offered by administrations and companies, credit lines or business constitution and structure are some of the obstacles that are faced by new entrepreneurs.
In those early days you want to be the City Council, which this year announces the XXIV edition of Business Project Competition, which in recent years has established itself as a helpful tool for those who realize a business idea in the municipality.
Proof of this have given this morning some of the protagonists of the announcement last year that have accompanied the Councillor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, the presentation of the event in 2016. They are responsible for some of the best ideas they attended and therefore received their winnings and have shared their testimony and experience this year.
Alejandro Lopez attended Máiquez -first prize, responsible for INECC-, José Alberto Verdú -third award, with Acho What Well- Joaquin and Manuel Mira Plana -Tictactoys--of Homyinhome-.
This contest is "an opportunity for projects that have a real chance of becoming a business and, to achieve this, they can count on technical and financial support of the City," said Pacheco, who added that this year the total amount of prizes amounting to 60,000 euros, to which two training grants are added to the two best proposals.
The projects presented, which can refer to any type of industry or economic activity, may not be before 2015. The deadline for submission of initiatives will end next September 5 and is open to residents in the municipality and legal persons whose registered offices Murcia is also, in addition to persons or entities residing in another locality but whose project is developed in the municipality.
The selection of projects will take place in two phases:
- Study of the project submitted by the developer to determine their viability, depending on their level of development, difficulty of implementation, innovative and job creation.
- Personal interview.
In addition to the 60,000 euros that will distribute prizes, the contest offers a scholarship of 3,600 euros for attending the course Master in Business Administration (MBA) in the 2016/17 edition and another grant of 1,500 euros to participate in the course of the program executive in business management, both issued by the University-Enterprise Foundation for the winner and runner.
All participants whose projects are deemed viable will benefit from the advice of staff and Training Centre Employment Initiatives and Municipal Initiatives Center.
Both agencies will also offer guidance to those interested in participating in the call.
