The University of Murcia has approved the convening twelve and four Postdoctoral Predoctoral contracts for 2017 which aim training of scientific personnel.
The two calls have a deadline for applications of 1 to 26 September.
As regards the predoctoral contracts, the call introduces important developments in relation to other years, the result of the commitment of the governing team to promote research training prioritizing talent, excellence and continuity in the race.
Among the new figure relative to the focus on attracting talent because, unlike previous calls, reserved only for those who have studied the degree and masters in the UMU, the current to the rest of Spain opens whenever the management and co-management are assumed by teachers belonging to the University of Murcia and is involved in a doctoral program of this educational institution.
Another major innovation is that of ensuring that each of the four divisions by branches of knowledge obtained at least one of the aid.
The divisions are: arts and humanities;
Health Sciences;
Social and Legal Sciences;
and finally, experimental sciences.
a commitment to excellence and supporting progression in the research career is also recorded, as those contracts are completed with obtaining the title of doctor prior to the start of the last installment of the aid may request that his contract be transformed in postdoctoral directly.

As for the four post-doctoral contracts reinstatement of the UMU, they aim to increase the number of doctors and doctors with qualifications in research teams of this educational institution, facilitating the return of those who have completed their stage of development in compliance of the priority objectives of the Statutes of the University of Murcia.
