The University of Murcia (UMU) has launched a legionella prevention plan that will last until next December and includes performances at different centers and units.
This plan will affect not only faculties and schools but also to administrative agencies, services, dorm Azarbe, teaching pavilion Arrixaca, sports courts Espinardo campus, lecture halls, premises of the former artillery barracks Street Cartagena and other .
The activities carried out include cleaning and disinfection facilities cold water for human consumption, domestic hot water systems with return system and irrigation systems.
These actions are driven by the Department of Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences, led by Professor José María Abellán.
