The president of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, discussed today with the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, the state of infrastructure in the municipality, as the progress made in the work of burial of the AVE, as well as some aspects related to public transport in villages, heritage or cultural offerings of the city, said the Minister of Culture and government spokesman, Noelia Arroyo.
After the meeting at the Palacio de San Esteban, Noelia Arroyo expressed the support of the Executive Murcia all "strategic priority and that are transforming the city and making Murcia a center of tourist and cultural attraction" projects.
The regional government "will work jointly with the city of Murcia to promote concrete proposals to improve the quality of life of people living in the city of Murcia," he said.
With regard to cultural activities, both governments pledged to continue working on the unification of the same so that it becomes a "compact reference for all Murcia" offer.
Also during the working meeting the mayor officially presented the projects 'Plan of Action Huerta' and 'Murcia River'.
This meeting is part of the contacts that the President of the Community maintains regularly with the mayors of the 45 municipalities to see first hand their needs and strategic projects.
