Members of City Council civil protection learning management defibrillators (26/07/2016)

Civil Protection members of City Council have had the opportunity to delve into the matter of SVB -Support Vital Basic- and management of semiautomatic external defibrillation devices DESA, thanks to the training plan given last days by the Institute of FP Health Claudio Galeno.

The course, offered by an emergency technician and instructor of these devices has consisted twelve hours of teaching, in which participants analyzed the theoretical questions and guidelines to be followed in an emergency situation.

Also, by simulating cases of cardiac arrest or cessation of breathing in different environments, they have implemented these essential life-saving procedures.

Upon completion of this course, participants have performed tests that will enable them to obtain official accreditation from the Ministry of Health and the Higher Institute of Health FP Claudio Galeno.
