The collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Murcia, the Puertas de Castilla Center, the Association of Cultural Managers of the Region of Murcia and Sound Archive of Experimental Music and Sound Art will allow the implementation of the second edition of the Postgraduate course in Cultural Management and Economics of Culture that will take place next academic year.
Aimed at anyone who is interested in cultural management, this Specialist Course aims to develop the skills necessary for the economic management of the common good that is culture.
A basic objective is necessarily linked to the importance of the figure of the cultural manager has taken over the last thirty years.The registration period will remain open until October 7.
Through the seven modules in which the course is organized, models students contemporary management for application in the direction and management of artistic and cultural projects, economic management of public or private cultural enterprise, communication will arise and cultural mediation, cultural marketing and attracting financial resources and forms of financing.
The methodology will primarily practice sessions and online, seminars, lectures and practices in institutions and cultural centers in the Region of Murcia.
In addition, the cast of teachers spans multiple disciplines related to the object of study, from cultural managers from Murcia to professors from the faculties of Economics and Business, Information and Documentation and Fine Arts of the University of Murcia and the Complutense University from Madrid.
