The City of Murcia gives Unicef ​​and Red Cross 20,000 euros for humanitarian aid in Ecuador (11/07/2016)

The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, President of the Regional Committee of Murcia Red Cross, Faustino Herrero, and the president of the Board of Unicef ​​Murcia, Amparo Marzal, signed the cooperation agreement between the city of Murcia and the Regional Committee today Spanish Red Cross in the region of Murcia and the Spanish Committee for UNICEF, the project aimed at boosting humanitarian aid to earthquake victims in Ecuador.

Unicef ​​direct grant allocated to the following activities: provision, provision and maintenance of drinking water and domestic water rationing measures;

On the other hand, the Red Cross will focus its efforts on providing a temporary housing solution for some 1,500 people, shipping, installation and assembly of 300 modular galvanized steel structures 18m2 each being provided.
