The UMU performs visual checks to nearly a hundred Saharawi children who spend the summer in the region (11/07/2016)

The University of Murcia (UMU) has conducted comprehensive optometric visual checks and oftalmológicas- to 90 children in Saharawi camps who spend the summer months welcomed by families in the region.

The tests, free of charge, have been conducted at the University Clinic of Integral Vision (CUVI) by a team of ophthalmologists, optometrists and boarders from the center, coordinated by Professor Felix Varona.

After due study, each child received a personalized report with specific recommendations for proper eye health.

With this selfless contribution, the UMU to the solidarity of host families adds.
