The Ministry of Education and Universities promote a comprehensive improvement project in the Secondary School Alfonso X the Wise, with an investment of 1.5 million euros from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The general director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel, met with the technicians of the Ministry management team and to plan actions that are scheduled to start in April next year.
The works will include the replacement of all exterior carpentry, exterior cladding and interior of the center, replacing roofs, reform of the electrical installation and heating as well as improving accessibility to the center.
In this regard, the general director of Educational Centers explained that "work will begin in April 2017 and will benefit more than 1,400 students at the school" and stressed "the regional government's commitment to continue improving schools in the region and thus promote the educational quality with better infrastructure. "
