Councilman Administration Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, will open this afternoon, at 18:15, the 'Terra Natura in the city' event in the Plaza de Santo Domingo will host until Saturday morning a full program of activities with animals and their environment as the main protagonists.
The schedule this afternoon will be 18 to 21 hours and on Saturday from 11 to 21 hours.
Attendees will enjoy the flight of different birds of prey performing the show in the park and even be photographed with them
In addition the following children's workshops, aimed at children aged 3 to 12 years will be made.
- Velcro Game on animals: Game in which attendees must be striking on a sheet different zoo animals.
The sheets cover different topics: food type, habitat, curiosities, food chain, distribution, conservation status.
- Sheets: Collection cards for attendees to fill, learn and take home, on the various animals in the park, awareness and environmental conservation.
- What animal am I ?: Participants are divided into teams, each with a button with the sound of an animal.
The game is to guess what animal it is, with only 10 tracks maximum.
- Drafting of a zebra: Each attendee will make a small zebra, using monitors, rubber eva
- Find the hidden animals: Like many animals, animals of La Sabana, use camouflage or colors to go unnoticed and avoid detection by predators.
- Mysterious boxes: boxes will be installed, in which there will only be a hole, through which participants must put your hand to guess what's inside.
Inside there will be biological material, which will serve to explain the biology, behavior and curiosities of different animals.
- Production of veneer: Each attendee will create a sheet with a wooden disc and various animal prints.
- Lynx: Version of the classic game of visual acuity "lynx" in which participants must seek a sheet filled with drawings of animals, one in particular, taken at random from a bag.
- Development of bird feeders: Conducting a workshop to manufacture a bird feeder with rolls of toilet paper, peanut butter and birdseed.
Also a drawing competition among all children attending Terra Natura Murcia prizes such as caps, T-shirts kids, stuffed animals, books animals and pony rides at the end of each day will be held.
In addition we have organized a nature classroom for visitors to learn about the conservation of fauna and flora of our environment and where they teach different types of antler that exist, the difference between ostrich eggs and we eat in hen house, different types of feathers, porcupine quills, animal skulls and turtle African children to see the characteristics of this animal.
