The statistics continue to show that the urban public transport demand continues to grow.
Thus, Murcia tram recorded a significant increase in the number of travelers in the last April: 472 222 2016 trips in April compared with 415,499 in April 2015.
This increase represents more than 13.6% which shows that Murcia tram grows above all national holdings, as confirmed by data from the National Statistics Institute, which announces that the Metro Valencia in April recorded the highest growth all urban transport, 11.8%.
According to the monthly Passenger Transport Statistics INE April in Murcia a total of 1,689,000 travelers who used urban public transport was recorded, representing a 27.96% traveled by tram Murcia, more a quarter of all urban trips made in the region.
