Councillor for Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sanchez, attended this morning to the Board of the Network of Cities for the Bicycle, held at the IFEMA grounds in Madrid.
The mayor also visited the second edition of Cities Forum in which debate on the future of sustainable cities and the exchange of best practices
Among other issues, it has been proposed agreement Friendly Cities this network, so that European cities can collaborate, share experiences and participate in the promotion and dissemination of good practice with RCxB.
In this follow-up meeting municipalities belonging to the Board of Directors they have also made an assessment of Biciregistro, have approved the proposed budget of this year and presented the draft of the new Network website.
Network of Cities for Cycling is an association of state level created in 2009 during the celebration of the Second Conference of Public Bicycles in Seville, which currently comprises more than 170 cities and operates as a space for exchanging experiences and promoting the use of bicycle as a vehicle for everyday use.
