The Cultural Space of the English Court yesterday hosted the awards ceremony Contest of Painting and drawing Night and Museum Day 2016 in which 107 works of children participated, between 4 and 12 years old.
Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco attended the awards ceremony consisted of a bicycle for the first awards and educational and recreational material for the second and third as well as a diploma of prize or mention.
The winners were as follows:
- Category 4, 5 and 6, the winner was Julia Sanchez Canovas, the second prize for Alba García García, third prize to Julia Vicente Perez.
- Category 7, 8 and 9, the winner was Juan Lerida Rojas, the second prize to Diana Torregrosa Washing and third prize Noa Membere Cantabella Ortiz
- Category 10, 11 and 12 years, the winner Alejandro Dominguez Aparicio, second prize to Pedro José Robles Tudela, third prize to Maria Lopez de Teruel Gervilla
- Category people with special educational needs (no age limit).
The jury in this category watching as consistent quality of work presented, decides to give five mentions ex aequo to Manuel Antonio Gimenez;
Juan Jose Diaz Romero;
José Ruiz González Marín;
Carpe Pedro Antonio Martinez and Francisco Hernández Muñoz.
The jury was composed by Carmen Molina and Antonio Martínez Mengual Cantabella, both artists, David Castro responsible Cultural Representative Corte Ingles;
and chaired by the Director General of Cultural Assets Maria Comas and Councilman Employment, Culture and Tourism, Jesus Pacheco, acting two technicians from the Museum of the CARM and other Museums of the City as secretaries.
