So his father Rafael Moreno Gomez founded the RafaPuede association, which help children like her son, and through that favor the autonomy of people with disabilities through research and application of technological resources that enable them inclusion and improving their skills and physical and social skills.
In addition, the Foundation conducts activities to make visible and raise awareness of the needs of people with disabilities.
This morning, father and son, accompanied by other members of the Foundation, visited the UCAM to sign an agreement with the University, in its commitment to help the most needy in society, will collaborate with the association in project development related to new technologies that improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, as well as involving volunteers from the academic institution.
Control devices with the body
One of the first jobs will be to interconnect a bracelet that has sensors with different electronic devices, with the aim that people with physical disabilities, these tools can control his arms or legs.
Rafael Moreno Gomez, president of the Foundation, stressed the importance of this agreement and thanked José Luis Mendoza, president of the Catholic University of Murcia collaboration and involvement shown.
The event also involved Antonio Alcaraz, Vice Chancellor of University Extension, and Rafael Melendreras, Vice Dean of Engineering Degree in Telecommunication Systems, who emphasized that such actions are part of the "idiosyncrasies of the University, its comprehensive training ".
