Murcia City Council allocated 111,840 euros for the maintenance and repair of 6 schools from the city center and districts (03/06/2016)

The Governing Board gives green light to the award of the works of repair and maintenance of 6 schools and districts of Murcia, through the Department of Education, University Relations and Heritage, directed by Rafael Gomez.

Schools in which will act are: Our Lady of the Angels of El Esparragal, Bernisconia Corner, Sacred Heart of Zeneta, Kingdom of Murcia in Murcia, Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente in Murcia Virgin of Guadalupe in Guadalupe.

The works, estimated to amount to 111,840 euros amount will be carried out taking advantage of the summer holidays (July and August) in order to put the centers for perfect operation during the next school year 2016/2017.

The works mainly focus on repairing toilets, facades, interior paint, drips, sanitation, locks and metal and wooden fences.

In total, the Department of Education expects to act this summer in more than twenty schools.
