Councillor for Public Works, Roque Ortiz, presided this morning the constitution of the working group in which also participated Lola Sanchez, Councilman Traffic and Safety, Juan Vicente Larrosa, Municipal Socialist Group, Mario Gomez, Citizens and Nacho Tornel, of Murcia's change, and that will lead to the creation and regulation of the Bureau of Public Transport in the municipality of Murcia.
The aim of this new body of participation is that agencies, organizations and most representative agents transport of the city analyze and promote initiatives for the promotion of the use of public transport.
In this first meeting have discussed the history of transportation in the municipality and the actions that will be transferred to the Bureau of Transportation as the study and review of all lines, the onset of action lines to advance coordination with the Autonomous Community, resource optimization, or tariffs and bonds.
Local political groups now study a draft with proposals for the creation and regulation of the Bureau of Transport in which the functions of this new body is collected, its composition, its operating range.
At the same time, data from the various lines of action of the current problems and requests received that affect the current transport system pedanías to be studied in the next meeting to be held the first half of June will be collected.
According to the councilman Roque Ortiz, "this draft is an open and participatory document we want to be agreed by all groups and the Bureau of Transportation born thanks to the agreement of all the Municipal Corporation".
