"In schools in the municipality of Murcia our children literally 'cooked' because in most cases do not have adequate air conditioning but many schools that do have air-can not implement it because of a old electrical system or lack of installed capacity, as is the case of CEIP Pedro Perez Abbey or Salzillo Espinardo San Gines, "said the socialist mayor.

Hernandez recalled that, in many cases, are the parents of students who are responsible for paying whiteboards or air conditioning facilities in schools "and then see how the installed electrical system does not support the power and the spending has been useless. "

This is the case of CEIP Pintor Pedro Flores, Bacons Bridge, where the AMPA, accompanied by the president of the Municipal Board, Enrique Carrillo, and the Socialist councilor, made a protest demanding the expansion of the contracted power, since students they can not even turn on all computers in the computer room because light bounces.

For this and looking for the best conditions for the students of the municipality, the PSOE will defend an initiative urging the council to review the electrical installations of all public schools and prepare a list of those who kept an old and poor system.

"The idea is that, after reviewing all schools, a plan to gradually replace these facilities for new electrical systems, which are safe and are governed by the current legislation is drawn up," said the socialist councilor.

The Socialist Group also require that schools that have already replaced their electrical installation but have problems due to lack of power "increase it to allow mainly the use of air conditioning, so necessary in our town most of the year".
