The Minister of Culture and the regional government spokesman, Noelia Arroyo, attended this morning in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga of Murcia to the canonical coronation of the Virgin of Solitude of the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Forgiveness, act which showed support of the Autonomous Community of the ongoing work of the brotherhoods throughout the year to spread the traditions, heritage and culture.

The ceremony officiated by the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Bishop José Manuel Lorca Planes, and told the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, among other authorities, the Minister of Culture said that "this celebration joins Murcia around one of the most traditional and beloved processions of the city, accompanying his brothers in one of his great days. "
During the imposition of the crown, the Virgen de la Soledad wore a mantle restored eighteenth century embroidery high quality and show the work of preservation and restoration carried out by the brotherhoods.
The Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Forgiveness procesiona since 1600 and is the most traditional of the city of Murcia.
