The Municipal Socialist Group wants to denounce the opacity that exists by the council regarding the information requested by the PSOE about the control over the maintenance of underground public car parks located in the Plaza de Santa Isabel, Veronicas and the Glorieta de Spain.
The lack of information also affects the data on sanctions and its different types to concessionaires of these three car parks, since 2009.
In November last year, Councilman Juan Vicente Larrosa requested an inspection of the parking lot of the Plaza de Santa Isabel, as she had received complaints from users of those facilities, as when accessing their vehicles found that there was no person company performing surveillance tasks.
Apparently this same situation has occurred a few days ago in the parking lot of the Glorieta.
Larrosa Recodo in this regard that Article 20 of the specifications of the concession states that "the park will be open to public use, permanently 24 hours a day, every day of the year, having the dealer maintain permanent surveillance during business hours mentioned ".
The socialist mayor has submitted requests for information, on at least four occasions, on the report of sanctions to be able to bring to the aforementioned car parks, as well as reports of conservation work and / or maintenance have been performed on them from 2009. So far it has received no response from the Department of Finance and Procurement.
"Does he want to demonstrate the fact that no inspections and controls concessionaires are made?" Asks Larrosa.
