Councilman Let's change Murcia Sergio Ramos today urged the Government Delegation in the region to act more diligently on behaviors that promote hate crimes, such as assault last February in the hamlet of Cabezo de Torres and of this weekend in the Plaza de la Merced, both committed by young neo-Nazis.
Ramos has considered that the delegation must act decisively in defense of human rights and "can not be so lax" with performances that can incite hatred, ranging from physical assaults and threats to painted by groups of extreme right.
It has also urged the council to implement the agreements that the House approved last February, jointly, at the request of Let's change Murcia proposal from the Coordinadora Anti Repression, to eradicate attacks and hate crimes in the municipality, and they included the development of an information and awareness campaign in schools.
The initiative also included as action the implementation of cooperation agreements between the Youth Service and secondary schools, in order to promote extracurricular activities that respond to the concerns and issues affecting young people, especially in related hate crimes.

In addition, Ramos has expressed support for the victims and their families, and encouraged people to suffer any attack to prevent denounce hatred and prevent recurrence.
