Three years ago the Catholic University of Murcia began the road to launch Degree in Dance.
The commission went to the School of Sport, which already teaches a Masters in Dance and Performing Arts biannually.
For two years the work has intensified with the ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation) which has set the guidelines to follow for verification of title.
Currently, the UCAM has already responded to all the demands of the ANECA and is awaiting certification by the agency to begin its implementation.
Antonio Sánchez Pato, dean of the Faculty of Sport, is confident that this verification process ends soon, because it has worked hard in recent years to meet all requirements.
Degree in Dance This is another step in support for culture and sport by the UCAM, which also has a dance company, a symphony orchestra and an International Flamencology, among many other cultural initiatives.
The singer Estrella Morente or composer Roque Baños, both professors of the Catholic University, are clear examples of intense work done in the UCAM by and for culture.
