On Tuesday, the Working Group will be established Pact for Employment which aims to meet, study and promote all actions aimed at establishing a common model design and employment policy management.
According to Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, "work within the framework of employment policies at national and European level in the context of the Strategy of City and with the work that has been done so far by the table employment and economic promotion of social Council ".
"We seek an approach to work that is able to integrate the vision of the different entities, associations and social agents in the territory, fulfilling the priorities expressed by the Social Council of the City and the full City Council in the agreement of November 23 and, at the same time has the capacity to integrate into the current strategic framework of employment policies at national and European level, "said Pacheco.
The mayor has stated that "since the main instruments of national policy for the coordination of the National Employment System are the Spanish Strategy Activation for Employment and Annual Plans for Employment Policy, it is appropriate that the creation of the Bureau of Employment it is framed both from a strategic point of view, and from the tactical point of view on these elements of coordination ".
Thus, with the involvement of all stakeholders a participatory process aimed at improving coordination and collaboration of all stakeholders with responsibilities for employment, training and economic development will be designed.
The proposed work includes a bottom-up approach to be efficient in design, development, management and evaluation of actions and programs aimed at social and professional integration and business development in the municipality of Murcia, contributing to greater impact of active policies employment in the territory, boosting economic activity and strengthening collaboration and coordination among all actors.
This Working Group Pact for Employment of the Municipality of Murcia will be composed of one representative from each political group of the Municipal Corporation, a representative of the Regional Employment Service and Training of the Autonomous Community and municipal technicians.
Furthermore, according to the actions to be treated, will involve members of the Bureau of Employment and Economic Promotion of the Social Council of associates of the Regional Employment and Training, the Regional Employment and Training Development Institute of the Region of Murcia University of Murcia, non-permanent municipal technicians and other social agents.
