The collaboration between the Department of Social Rights, headed Conchita Ruiz, and the Department of Administration Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, directed Jose Guillen, allow to launch an ambitious initiative to reduce the digital divide among the largest in the municipality.
This group is often overwhelmed by the advance of Communication Technologies and Information, and requires adequate support for their needs.
To do this, a team of experts will travel to all districts and resolve all doubts in situ that may arise them in the use of digital devices such as computers, tablets or mobile.
To motivate seniors to participate in these digital workshops out is to lead a campaign to promote this initiative Digitizing this group starring themselves.
So, tomorrow, Tuesday, Internet Day, will participate in a photo casting in the Plaza de Santo Domingo from 17 to 20.30, and the selected photos will be part of this campaign Digitization of the Third Age.
This is intended to put in the mouths of these people the most appropriate messages to encourage them to participate in these digital workshops and so lose the fear of new technologies.
The City Council will deliver gifts to all those involved in the casting.
