The Board of Governors approved the statement of terms and conditions for contracting activities 'Story Time' and 'Tours' in the program of cultural and leisure activities of the Municipal Library Network Murcia (RMBM).
The amount allocated for these actions is 35,622 euros.
Specifically, 'Story Time' is one of the activities aimed at children have more followers in RMBM libraries, and is based on oral narration and dramatization of classic and contemporary stories.
Its aim is to bring the child to the story and the story told, arouse interest in reading and books, encourage participation and develop imagination.
162 is scheduled sessions, some in English, an hour-long weekly basis in all libraries that have RMBM Children Section are made.
It is a free activity that does not require prior registration.
The schedule of meetings will be advertised in all libraries and on the website of the MMFN (www.rmbm.org).
The 'Guided tours' are aimed at students in 3rd and 4th Children's Primary Education.
This activity aims MMFN from a playful design, bring schoolchildren and their teachers to the library to meet its resources, organization and services.
It is planning a total of 200 sessions of one hour, in all libraries available RMBM Children Section.
During 2015 they participated in the activities of the MMFN 27,072 people.
