The Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Thomas Violante, attended on Monday the act of homage to the largest in the neighborhood of Vistabella where delivering a distinction Costantina Moro, 106-year-old took place.
Thomas Violante said the value of promoting an active and healthy aging that promotes personal autonomy, integration and full participation through activities in society.
The event highlighted that the elderly "are the pillars of our families and society, and the recognition they deserve."
Costantina was accompanied at the ceremony by family and friends excitedly picked up the recognition of a lifetime that since the municipal council paid him.
"This is to acknowledge the splendid work they have our greatest development that we have to thank them," said Thomas Violante.
