The University of Murcia (UMU) today provided a tribute to seven students who earned national awards final year in the 2011-2012 academic year and who has delivered the flagship institution and a diploma.
The winners in this announcement have been Amoros Aurora Fernandez (third prize, Classical Philology);
Cutanda Maria Trinidad Lopez (third prize, Pedagogy);
Lapeña Gloria Gallego (first prize, Fine Arts);
Alejandro Lopez Soriano (second prize, Chemical Engineering);
Javier Palazón Cabanes (third prize, Medicine);
Abraham Valera Laborda (third prize, Translation and Interpretation) and Juan Carlos Villanueva Mateo (second prize, Information and Documentation).
During the ceremony, held at the Convalescence building, headquarters of the Rector of the University of Murcia, the Vice Chancellor of Students, Quality and Equality, Miguel Angel Perez, has said that these awards for excellence are proud to recipients, but also for University.
For its part, the rector, José Orihuela, has had words of congratulations for all of them, "because getting a national award is not easy", and then, said that the institution he presides is always behind its graduates.
The ceremony was attended by deans of schools of students and assistant secretary general, Maria del Carmen Lopez.
