This year, in its fourth edition, the National Congress of Nursing, which is celebrating the Catholic University of Murcia, will be entitled 'For an age without topical', where the different ways of approaching the greater will be discussed.
For it will have the participation of experts in different fields of gerontology, from primary, specialty care, community and institutional level.
The congress, which opens tomorrow, Wednesday, May 4 at 09:30 am on the campus of Los Jeronimos, which will last until Thursday, is considered Health Scientific Interest by the Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia.
Over two-day aspects as the humanization of death, elder care at home, pharmacology in the elderly or the elderly from other perspectives they will be discussed.
The speakers who will participate in the conference come from several hospitals and nursing homes as the residence Virgen del Mar Cartagena, Residence Nursing Homes Almeria, the Health Center of Ceuta, among others.
In addition there will be teachers from the universities of La Rioja, Valencia and UCAM own.
The conference will end when Dr. Alfonso Lopez of the University of La Rioja impart the lecture entitled 'The History and the elders, creating a stereotype'.
XV Conference of curricular orientation and employment
After the Congress, the XV days curricular orientation and employment will be held, and will focus on informing students of the last courses about different career opportunities that exist today.
They will include representatives of Murciano Health Service, Union of Nursing of Spain, staff of the Armed Forces, EURES (Empresa Employers throughout Europe), or Global Working (Employment Management nurses to Norway), among others.
