Coordinator of Representatives of Students of Public Universities (CREUP) has issued a resolution supporting the Covenant by the Public University of Murcia, promoting the Student Council of the University of Murcia (Ceumar) and the Polytechnic University Cartagena.
Representatives of students from the universities of Murcia (UMU) and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) demand of regional social partners a pact that guarantees a public university system with guarantees of quality higher education is realized.
In this sense, both universities are in contact with the executive and legislative power to collect the implicit support from representatives of the Murcian society in improving the regional university system.
A university system and public higher education at the level of work that the UMU and UPCT develop by improving Murcia society in all areas of your daily exercise, and to collect its needs and are equipped with the necessary resources to achieve these goals in an optimal way.
The CREUP, state organization equivalent to undergraduate level to the Conference of Rectors representation, has called on the General Assembly held at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (campus of Ciudad Real), the realization of an effort by representatives regional politicians to reach consensus on the establishment of a quality public university system that meets the needs of society.
