The Governing Board has given the green light to the award of a grant amounting to 27,500 euros, through the Department of Social Rights, he headed Conchita Ruiz Caballero for the development project of the Columbares Association for the social integration of 11 immigrant women at risk of social exclusion.
The objective is to cover the basic to the immigrant population without resources, with serious problems of social exclusion needs.
In the target of the project are provided with accommodation, meals, cleaning and hygiene, access to health care, legal advice, training, psycho-social care, mediation and support through a home host "Carnations" located in the Palmar, with capacity to serve 5 people.
In the project, immigrant women receive comprehensive care that bridges the gap between the situation of exclusion and social and professional integration to which all aspire, thus helping to compensate for social inequalities.
Last year 11 people were the target of the project.
