The University of Murcia (UMU) has been awarded the Hippocratic Award for Contribution and Support Medicine, award given by the Association of Physicians of the Region.

The College stressed that the UMU, in its hundred-year history, has been "a leader in human and scientific training of our young people, especially in the generations of physicians whose professional accomplishments have transcended the borders of our region."

The Hippocratic VIII Awards will be presented at a gala in which also commemorated the 120th anniversary of the College.
