The Governing Board has given the green light to the renovation of the Social Centres for the Elderly Javalí Nuevo and San José de la Vega and municipal comprehensive centers Santa Cruz, Infante Juan Manuel, Sangonera La Seca, the Arboleja and Social center Reconciling work and family life of El Palmar.
Works a total amount of 225,214 euros.
Social reforms and Senior Center New Javalí will have an amount for the performance of 34,811 euros;
the Social Center of San Jose de la Vega will have 35,120 euros;
municipal comprehensive centers Santa Cruz, Juan Manuel Infante, Sangonera la Seca and the Arboleja has allocated amounts: 34,734 euros, 15,985 euros, 35,068 euros and 34,700 euros respectively.
With respect to the expansion works of the playgrounds of the Social Center Reconciling work and family life of El Palmar, it has a total of 34,796 euros.
In this center, there are 198 children aged between 16 weeks and 12 years old, who can play on the days it has rained, because the works of surface finish of continuous rubber.
Specifically, the work will facilitate compliance with current regulations regarding accessibility, benefiting 2157 members of all centers.
Some of the spaces of the centers are assigned for use to different Associations of Social Centres for the Elderly, through a cooperation agreement between the city of Murcia and the associations, which are composed of the elderly in the municipality of Murcia, non-profit profit and own independent legal personality of the Administration.
