The Municipal Council for Cooperation and Solidarity meets urgently to study proposals for humanitarian aid to Ecuador, after the events of recent days.

The Department of Youth and Development Cooperation, "will allocate 20,000 euros to alleviate damage to the area affected by the quake zone, and for that, they will study humanitarian aid projects of the different institutions working in Ecuador", as has Rebeca Perez explained.

The meeting, chaired by the Councillor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Perez, Commerce, accompanied by the councilman of Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, attended the council Paqui Pérez, the Municipal Group Citizens;

Maite Espinosa Municipal Socialist Group;

Daisy Swan, the Municipal Group's change Murcia;

"Next week the council will meet again to decide the projects and institutions which will help develop", as stated by the mayor.
