Councillor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, along with the councilman of Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, and the president of Asteamur, Nani Martinez de Haro, presented this morning the second edition of the Race Charity Run Day 2016 Association for people with autism spectrum disorder Murcia (Asteamur), with the participation of 2,000 people.
The test, which takes place on Sunday April 24, is sponsored by Vive la Suerte, brand sports betting Orenes Group and has the support of the Department of Sports and Health of the City of Murcia and the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.
Asteamur - RUN-DAY 2016 is included in the official calendar of the 'Region of Murcia Running Challenge 2016'.
In this edition, there will be two modes for adults, 5 kilometers and one 10 K starting and finishing at 9:30 in Round Garay.
The children modalities are 700 meters and 150 meters, from 11:30 hours, starting and finishing in Ronda de Garay (vs. Red Cross).
At the end of infant child runs a completely free musical performance will be held.
Inscriptions both children and adults, will be made through the website of the Athletics Federation of Murcia on the web www.famu.es.
Coello stressed that this race "is an example of sport and solidarity" and that, from the city of Murcia, "we will continue to support and encourage efforts like this."
Ruiz Caballero noted that these initiatives, we aim from the city of Murcia, "sensitize the society to understand, accept and include these people in social life".
