The Department of Social Rights, headed Conchita Ruiz Caballero, presented the XII Theatre Festival, in the program of activities with the Social Centres for the Elderly for this year, which is expected to attend every day about 700 people.
A total of twelve groups will be the protagonists of this exhibition, to be held during the days 19, 20, 26 and 27 April, from 17 to 20 pm in the Teatro Romea.
Specifically, the cast of actors and actresses come from centers Algezares, Monteagudo, Cabezo de Torres, San Pio X, La Alberca, La Cueva, San Miguel, Dolores, Rincon de Seca, Llano de Brujas, Santa Eulalia, Bridge bacons, San Lorenzo, San Juan and University.
Ruiz Caballero has indicated that the Theatre Festival aims at "promoting and encouraging work involved the staging of a play, encourage participation in courses of theater and corporal expression, foster love of the theater and cultural activities, and facilitate the exchange of experiences ".
For years the theater courses have become one of the activities subsidized Social Centres for the Elderly that request, along with other courses that promote active aging, healthy leisure, culture, social participation, etc ..
"This is one of the best activities that it benefits since it requires a great effort from the elderly, for constancy tests, memorization, costumes, etc" has completed the holder of Social Rights.
