Presented at the rectory of the UMU an exhibition of "neuroesculturas" (18/04/2016)

The building will house Convalescence morning, Tuesday, April 19, at 11:15 am, the presentation of the exhibition "The Wedding", in which the Murcian sculptor Lidó Rico shows a series of "neuroesculturas" obtained from real human brains.

During the event, to be held in the hall of the Chancellor, the author will donate one of their "brains" to the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia (UMU).

This event was attended, besides the sculptor, the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, and Dean of the Faculty, Miguel Garcia Salom.

the "Genoarquitecturas" project, in which the exhibition is part and is the result of the collaboration initiated two years ago by the sculptor Kuei Y. Tseng neurophysiologist, Professor, Department of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at the University is also present Chicago, and José Luis Ferrán neurobiologist, professor, Department of Anatomy and Psychobiology of the University of Murcia.
