The University of Murcia (UMU) held on Tuesday the information day "The university and the protection of rights of invention of researchers", in which information will be provided about intellectual property rights.
The conference will take place in the hall of degrees of the Faculty of Computer Science, where at 9:30 will be opened by the rector, José Orihuela, and the rector Transfer, Entrepreneurship and Employment, Francisca Thomas.
From 10:00 to 12:00, the session will be devoted to intellectual property in the field of new technologies, case issues such as the concept of intellectual property, how to record the results of research and offenses against intellectual property (crime, kidnapping, illegal downloads and shares responsibility).
From 12:30 hours, it will deepen aspects of industrial design and Information Services of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Technology.
The conference is organized by the Office of Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) under the quoted Vice President, on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day.
