The University of Murcia (UMU) and the College of Engineers of the Region have signed an agreement to collaborate in continuing training of professionals in the new technologies sector.
The activities covered by the agreement, the initiator is professor UMU Francisco Garcia Sanchez, developed by the University of Murcia through its School of Computing.
President of the College, Juan Salvador Castejón, said during the signing ceremony, held at the Rector of the University, the governing body seeks "permanent training of professionals to adapt to a rapidly changing environment it is the new technologies ".
To this end, he added, they have resorted to a center of the "fame" of the Faculty of Informatics, University of Murcia, whose dean, Pedro Miguel Ruiz, he stressed that continuous training is a clear commitment of the faculty.
The rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, said that this is an agreement "very adequate, therefore the object of continuing training of computer engineers, for the ways of collaboration" that open between the College and the Faculty, to which he defined as "one of the standards of the University."
At the signing ceremony was also attended by the educational institution, the Vice Chancellor of Education and Innovation, Pedro Miralles, and the Secretary General, Santiago Alvarez.
