The Chair of the Environment, composed of the Port Authority of Cartagena and the two public universities in the region of Murcia through the Campus Mare Nostrum (CMN), has published a call for aid of 60,000 euros to cover three contracts related research the port environment.
The call, whose deadline for proposals shall be made before 14:00 on May 4, 2016, is aimed at projects led by researchers from both the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
The proposals have to discuss some of the priorities of that Chair: Natura 2000 network, biodiversity, underwater noise, marine pollution and contaminated soils;
although they can also be topics of interest from the environmental point of view to the port of Cartagena.
Projects can be presented in collaboration with other universities, foundations, businesses and other public and private institutions that can contribute to the development of knowledge in each subject area.
