The Plaza del Cardenal Belluga has welcomed this afternoon 8th Meatloaf Day, an event that has brought together thousands of Murcia and tourists, who have realized about 10,000 cakes distributed for free.
During the party it has also revealed the winner of the third contest for the Best Meatloaf 2016, which has fallen this year in Andrew Marble, owner of the Patisserie La Gloria, El Palmar.
The competition was attended by 14 bakeries in the city, including marble cake was chosen as the winner of the contest.
Day Meatloaf is an initiative by the Guild of Bakers and the Association of Friends of Meatloaf and has the support of the City of Murcia, Estrella de Levante, the daily La Verdad and La Opinion de Murcia
