City of Murcia and Levante Estrella meet the commitment to environmental sustainability by planting more than 100 trees in the environment of the River Segura (21/03/2016)

More than 100 trees, particularly nettle trees have been planted this morning on the left bank of the River Segura, on the occasion of the International Day of Environment and fulfilling the commitment to environmental sustainability, by the company Estrella Levante the city of Murcia.

This action was carried out in order to minimize emissions from raw materials acquired in the company Estrella de Levante, and to compensate for this issue, will be planted this year a total of 3000 trees distributed by different points Murcian geography.

A planting, attended the Town Planning, Environment and Huerta, who heads Antonio Navarro Corchón and CEO of Estrella de Levante, Patricio Valverde.

The company Estrella de Levante in collaboration with the city of Murcia, thus help to repopulate the hackberry the bank of the River Segura passing through Murcia.
