The University of Murcia (UMU) has been appointed coordinator of a European doctoral program on biology and reproductive technology, with an investment of 3.8 million euros in four years, and which also involved universities in Germany, Belgium , Italy and two in Ireland.
European PhD program was proposed to the European Commission jointly with those universities led by the University of Murcia, having obtained a rating of 95 out of a hundred.
It was the only program approved those presented by the various Spanish universities and the first of its kind that is implanted in Spain.
Students who follow this educational offer will get the title of doctor simultaneously by all participating universities.
In addition, during the four years of training, students receive a monthly stipend that will allow them not to have to seek sources of funding to continue the doctoral program exclusively.
