The president of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, inaugurated the new premises of Hotel Nelva, "which has been reversed so that it remains a quality benchmark for tourism in the region" yesterday.
He added that "45 years ago it opened and since then was a symbol of hope and today has to remain that, a bet of renewal for a new era of tourism quality, better service and better facilities."
The president also referred to the provisions hotel occupancy for Easter and said that if met, "will be the best data occupation of the last eleven years" as foreseen touch the full house in towns and resorts ( almost 100 percent) and an occupancy rate above 90 percent also in coastal areas.
"All this also means more jobs in the tourism sector," he said, something for which "we need entrepreneurs to launch investments like this to continue to grow, because one way to believe in Murcia is to invest in it."
In the last ten years, Murcia has expanded by 57 percent capacity accommodation establishments 4 and 5 stars.
