Councilman Administration Modernization, Urban and Participation Quality, Jose Guillen, attended this morning in Madrid, the eighth edition of the conference Smart Cities in practice, organized by the Socinfo Foundation in collaboration with the FEMP and the Spanish Society telecommunications and the information society.
The day was opened by the President of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, they were attended by over 110 representatives of public agencies and private entities.
The exchange of experiences has been a confirmation of the alignment of the project Smart Murcia with the best practices of smart cities in other Spanish municipalities.
With this national meeting seeks to bring together the various municipal projects being carried out on Smart Cities in Spain in order to provide experiences and to establish common initiatives.
At the seminar they have intervened representatives of municipalities of Madrid, Malaga, Seville, Vigo and Gijon explained their main projects.
Among the various issues that have been discussed include "The National Plan Smart Cities' or 'technological tools for municipalities'.
This municipal investment to districts for next year represents 55% of the overall investment of the City Council allow the creation of new works and improving paving, sidewalks and driveways in villages.
