The rector of the University of Murcia (UMU), José Orihuela, and the president of the Constitutional Court (TC), Francisco Perez de los Cobos, today signed an agreement on technological cooperation with the court it takes a new step towards electronic processing of resources.
The agreement, whose signing took place at the Rector of the University, allows the Court to use the "Factum" digitizing systems certified and "Office Files", developed both by the UMU, a fact that will result in both the service that the TC provided to citizens and optimization of available resources.
These applications are used, among others, by the Certification Authority of Valencia, the Region of Murcia Football Federation, State Ports and Jaume I, Santiago de Compostela and Granada universities.
The agreement was made under the general principle of cooperation between public administrations in the use of electronic means, under the law of electronic access of citizens to public services and the law regulating the use of technology information and communication in the administration of justice.
Perez de los Cobos said that this system UMU "being a tool of first level" in the scanning process is carried out in the Constitutional Court.
The event was attended, among others, former rectors Juan Roca and Jose Antonio Cobacho;
the dean of the Faculty of Law, David Lorenzo Morillas, and members of the governing team of Orihuela, along with the president of the Social Council, Javier Ruano.
