In the hamlet of Beniaján, 34 women have received diplomas attesting to the first year of the European program 'Together: Healthy for both Sano for you,' put in place by the City of Murcia, through the Department of Health and Sports , directed Felipe Coello.

This project, stressed the Councillor for Health, "aims to promote healthy lifestyles and diets for pregnant women and nursing mothers, especially disadvantaged and vulnerable groups."
Promoting self-care, motivation to change habits, group dynamics, value resource partner, family and recognition of skills, they have been the subjects that have been discussed during the course.
Also, nutritionists, psychologists, nurses, midwives and physiotherapists have been responsible professionals to implement all content in each of their subjects.
'Together', said Coello, "is developing with women's groups, involving them in real actions, such as workshops power to promote healthier lifestyles life and enabling them to take more responsibility with regard to their health and their styles life to try to achieve sustainable change. "
The health minister said that "food during the preconception period, pregnancy and in the first 1000 days of life, is one of the factors that influence the health of the future child and is fundamental in the physical development and intellectual child ".
The project has a clear Community approach that aims to reach women where they live, work, buy or move.
This means the establishment of a networking with health centers, health workers (doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, nutritionists, etc.), social services centers and their workers, places selling food, sports centers, restaurants, schools, workplaces, etc.
