The Visitor Center La Luz offers a complete program of ecotourism by the Regional Park Valley with a wide range of activities such as hiking, orienteering, Nordic Walking, initiation climbing, archaeological walking tours and photography workshops in nature.
Among the new features this year include hiking trails for younger, orientation in nature for children and adults, an initiation workshop to photography, historical walking and climbing some peaks of the Regional Park Valley-Carrascoy routes, next to the Visitor Center La Luz.
Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, explained that "with this program we want to show every weekend participants the extraordinary diversity of natural and cultural heritage of the municipality of Murcia."
Any fan of nature person from 5 to 70 years can enjoy these sports and cultural activities developed through the Aula Mountain Visitor Center La Luz, with the objective of promoting tourism respectful nature in the park Natural El Valle, a privileged a few minutes from the city environment.
Hiking enthusiasts may climb to Cabezo de La Luz (March 20) Watchmaker (10 April) and Mirador de Las Navetas (May 1)
The Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture pioneered Murcia to publicize Nordic Walking, an activity of great success throughout Europe which is a new technique of walking with canes, simple and much healthier.
The activity is scheduled for March 13.
Also it scheduled a day of introduction to climbing in the Panocha (April 24) in which an expert team of monitors will explain the keys to enjoy this sport in the classical school of climbing Murcia, in the Cresta del Gallo.
The ecotourism program 2016 is complete with children's workshops botany (March 12), orientation in nature for children (23 April) and lectures at the Visitor Center La Luz as 'the Scout movement in the Valle Regional Park' (15 May), 'Panocha, Crag' (April 17) and "History of the Valley Reforestation '(May 29).
Finally, a photography workshop in nature (May 22) and the photo contest will be held 'El Valle through your eyes' (11 September).
All activities are free and will take as its starting point the Visitor Center La Luz.
