The Ministry of Culture and Spokesperson, through the Directorate General of Sports and in collaboration with the city of Murcia and the Union of Sports Federations of the Region, has prepared a program of sports activities on the occasion of the commemoration of the International Day women, March 8.
Sunday March 13 will take place in different areas of Murcia the Feast of Sport and Women 'with a total of 25 activities taking place in seven municipal facilities.
Also, under the slogan 'There are women, no sport', will be held from 9 to 11 March several lectures and symposia.
The program has been developed in collaboration with the Union of Sports Federations of the Region of Murcia, responsible for coordinating the various activities, and the city of Murcia, through the transfer of municipal sports facilities.
El Corte Ingles also collaborates with the celebration of the various talks in their cultural space Gran Via Salzillo.
The activities were presented today by the Minister of Culture and the regional government spokesman, Noelia Arroyo, mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, and the president of the Union of Sports Federations of the Region of Murcia, José María López.

Noelia Arroyo said: "This activity has been organized in order to highlight and recognize the important work done by women in the field of physical activity and sport".
